For those who don’t know much about Jonathan, he holds a degree in B.Sc. (Hons) and in B.Phty and is currently one of the members of the Physiotherapy Association in Australia. In addition he owns his own center known as Ice Fire Physiotherapy and works there as the main therapist. He has approximately worked for two and half decades in numerous areas all over Australia, some of which are: Albany Creek and areas in north of Brisbane. Hence he is known for his knowledge and understanding of various syndromes and uncommon diseases, due to research in health and the experience he has gathered in all these areas. His exemplary performance was evident since his college days while he has studying physiotherapy in Warner during his bachelors from university of Queensland by the fact that he earned the award of “Helen Rigby Memorial” along with another physiotherapist. Many of his papers have been published in international journals, in the field of science under peer review category, some of which are: an American journal on therapy and one on hand therapy.
His achievements extend way beyond this as he has also given numerous lectures to students of Griffith University in their physiotherapy school and he has also presented at various conferences locally, nationally and even on international platforms including the one on workplace health and also the thirty-third Australian conference by Ergonomics society, association on hand therapy, hand surgery society in Queensland, and he has also addressed professionals in other fields such as those from kindergarten association. In short he has a very extensive network of social commitments where he attempts to impart all that he has learned in his life so far. Apart from physiotherapy has many other interests; one of out of them is that he has authored the book known as: “Echoes of Jesus”.
He is also one of those who view that education and especially learning must continue above and beyond your regular school and colleges or universities, and he has himself proved so by continuing to learn through numerous other means such as through latest updates on neurosurgery by the neurosurgery center in Brisbane in august 2015, the national conference on physiotherapy in October 2015, in the year 2016 he attended the master class on Rotator cuff, reasons for its occurrence and ways to deal it. In 2018 he attended a workshop held by the research institute of university of Queensland on the topic of cervical spine curated by a professor who is from the University of Technology in Auckland, Dr. Duncan Reid.
Jonathan is a regular attendee of courses on physiotherapy and also eagerly attends conferences on the subject matter. It is through these that he now knows who to deal with problems in the movement of upper limb, injuries of the tendons, acupuncture etc. Hence he utilizes both, his experience as well as knowledge along with empathy towards all his patients.
